About the event

This international workshop, organized within the framework of the 2nd Level Master’s in Interventional Pulmonology, serves as a strategic meeting for national and international Key Opinion Leaders to evaluate the current global status of pulmonary nodule management. Beyond traditional methods, the event provides a specific technical assessment of the field's evolution: from the integration of robotic-assisted platforms with real-time imaging for high-precision targeting to the clinical transition toward bronchoscopic ablation techniques such as pulsed electric fields and microwave. The workshop aims to address the global clinical shift in which diagnosis and treatment are increasingly integrated into same-day workflows, while reconciling international ACR guidelines with the ongoing surgical debate between organ-sparing segmentectomy and radical lobectomy and the emerging evidence on bronchoscopic ablation. This meeting establishes a definitive overview of the technological and multidisciplinary trends currently redefining the standard of care worldwide.
